Good post on the God-Emperor’s UN speech at Musings of the Angry Webmaster:
Trump Shocks and Awes the United Nations
First, my man Trumpy hails the idea of sovereign, independent nations:
We do not expect diverse countries to share the same cultures, traditions, or even systems of government. But we do expect all nations to uphold these two core sovereign duties: to respect the interests of their own people and the rights of every other sovereign nation. This is the beautiful vision of this institution, and this is foundation for cooperation and success.
Actually, the first part of that last sentence, that sovereignty is a vision of the UN, is a polite lie – “Your dress looks great, girlfriend!” – and an attempt to get the UN’s would-be world dictators nodding at a pro-sovereignty message. It seems to have worked. Trumpy continues:
Strong, sovereign nations let their people take ownership of the future and control their own destiny. And strong, sovereign nations allow individuals to flourish in the fullness of the life intended by God.
As the Angry Webmaster says, this is “a kick to the groin of the Globalists.” And they deserve a kick to the groin, and then some.
We are renewing this founding principle of sovereignty. Our government’s first duty is to its people, to our citizens — to serve their needs, to ensure their safety, to preserve their rights, and to defend their values.
As President of the United States, I will always put America first, just like you, as the leaders of your countries will always, and should always, put your countries first.
This is more globalist groin-kicking, which is funny, because apparently the assembled globalists applauded it. LOL.
As Angry Webmaster notes, “What he said next shocked the UNGA and the Progressive Elites and their moronic minions in the United States and around the world.”
The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea.
Boom! Talk about a line in the sand! Of course, the usual suspects started saying it was belligerent, etc., but such rhetoric was uncharacteristically muted, at least from the tidbits I read. It’s almost as if even leftist idiots have enough sense to realize that North Korea with nuclear ICBMs might be a threat to them.
AW: “This was a flat out threat to North Korea. If that fat little turd tries anything, North Korea will be flattened and paved over. This is language that, to my knowledge, has never been used in the United Nations.” Yup. But Trump didn’t stop there:
The Iran Deal was one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into. Frankly, that deal is an embarrassment to the United States, and I don’t think you’ve heard the last of it — believe me.
Trump then went after Cuba and Venezuela.
The man is on track to be up there with Reagan. If he keeps it up, he could end up better than Reagan.
